The past 12 months have been an exciting period for Arrotek, with awards, local and international expansion, and important milestones achieved. Here’s a quick summary:
Life Sciences Company of the Year
In July of this year, Arrotek was named the Life Sciences Company of the Year at Ireland’s Life Sciences Industry Awards. We also picked up the top award, the Overall Excellence in Life Sciences Award.
The winning of these two prestigious awards came on the back of other awards successes, including being shortlisted for the MedTech Company of the Year 2022 award at last year’s Irish MedTech Awards.
US Office Opening
We opened our first international office in the past year – in Massachusetts in the USA. Commenting at the time of the announcement, Mark Pugh, Co-Founder and CEO of Arrotek, described the opening of the US office as an important milestone that was “down to the dedication, hard work, and commitment” of the Arrotek team.
Facility Expansion in Ireland
We completed a 20,000 sq. ft. expansion of our facility in Sligo, Ireland in May of this year. The new extension added office and engineering space to facilitate the company’s ambitious growth objectives.
Manufacturing Investments and Expansion
Manufacturing output at our Sligo facility is up more than 90 percent since 2020 as we continue to invest in state-of-the-art production equipment.
Successful FDA Inspection
Our Sligo, Ireland facility went through a successful FDA inspection earlier this year, with no actions required.
Employee Milestones
We have continued to grow our team over the past 12 months, with our 100th employee joining Arrotek during the summer. Individual employees also achieved personal milestones with the company, including Adrian Moran, Arrotek’s first employee, who is still with us after more than 18 years.
