We are currently recruiting a Business Development Executive for our growing sales team which has expanded recently due to increased demand. Please note this is a junior-mid level role doing outbound new business sales (not account management). The position will evolve into a Technical Sales role following an initial and successful 6-12 months in the role.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Identifying potential customers via market research, email prospecting, cold calling
- Presenting Arroteks offering and making potential customers interested in our services
- Qualifying opportunities that lead to quality discovery calls
- Working with Senior Sales Leads on consultative sales processes from generating leads to closing deals
- Working with marketing to target relevant networking events and book meetings
- Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories.
- Meeting with new customers during visits both on-site and off-site (some travel across Europe would be expected)
- Ensuring our CRM Hubspot is up to date with all sales activities
- Learning from senior sales executives on best practice sales techniques
- Working with PMs and Design Engineers on medical device design projects
Other such duties may be assigned from time to time by the Sales Manager.
Person Specification:
Candidates likely to be called for interview will have most or all of the following:
- Degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering preferable.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar sales role would be preferrable.
- High energy and a can-do proactive attitude.
- Demonstrate great active listening skills and confidence.
- Excellent communication skills with superb networking abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational, research and multitasking abilities.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of IT systems like Microsoft Office, CRMs and Data Management tools
- High level of teamwork and engagement, while at the same time being able to work on their own initiative.
Position Details
This is a full-time on a permanent contract based in our Sligo facility with a view to starting as soon as possible.
