Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position will include the following, but are not limited to:
- Main responsibility will be to work with Design Engineers and Project Managers.
- Assist in the clean room and lab with tasks associated with:
- Device development
- Prototype and development builds.
- Inspection and testing.
- Recommendations for design and build improvement.
- Stock counts, materials usage and labelling.
- Draft and/or redlined documents; material specifications, change control, Batch records, Bills of materials, Work instructions and other Project documentation as required;
- Transfer information from lab books to reports.
- Getting quotes and completing purchase orders. Following up with vendors on purchase orders and deliveries.
- Complying with Arrotek operating standards as outlined in Company Handbook;
- Adhere to Plant Safety requirements and Health & Safety requirements;
- Other such duties as may be assigned from time to time by their Manager.
Person Specification:
Candidates likely to be called for interview will have most or all of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar related discipline is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience of working in a medical device environment would be an advantage but not essential.
- Strong on attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good team worker.
- Good organisational and time keeping skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Familiar with specific document types such as drawings, specifications, quality standards an advantage but not essential.
