We are currently recruiting for the position of a Cleaner.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- The daily upkeep, cleaning and sanitizing of the internal areas of the building.
- Ensure all areas, such as office areas, corridors, reception and meeting rooms, are maintained to a high standard at all times (cleaning floors, tables, mirrors and glass surfaces and ensure they are free of streaks, watering plants etc.).
- Ensure canteen and toilets are maintained to a high standard for use by all, including cleaning, sanitizing, emptying bins, and ensuring relevant supplies are available at all times (including soap and paper dispensers).
- Ensure there are adequate supplies available at designated areas (canteen, meeting rooms, storeroom, toilets etc.).
- Take inventory of cleaning supplies and materials and order more as needed.
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Conduct all duties in accordance with company policy and all safety protocols.
- Support the overall objective of meeting the expectations of the company.
- Inform those responsible for maintenance of anything that is broken or not functioning correctly immediately so that the issue is resolved promptly.
- Communicate any concerns about work process regarding environment impact, health or safety issues to their manager.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to all, including visitors and customers.
- Ensure to work in line with Arrotek health and safety requirements at all times, including manual handling procedures, chemical awareness and hazards.
- Ensure all basic standards of hygiene is maintained at all times.
- Other such duties as may be assigned by their Manager.
Person Specification
Candidates likely to be called for interview will have most or all of the following:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within a medical device environment.
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent required.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment, with a strong working knowledge of the GMP practices and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Manual handling training/qualified.
- Ability to work as part of a team, while also using their own initiative.
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Position Details
This is a part-time/ full-time position on a fixed term contract with a view to starting as soon as possible.
